Young people who are 16-19 years old and require more individual support after leaving formal education may be considered for an Activity Agreement which aims to assist young people into more formal learning opportunities.
Over 400 young people have participated in Activity Agreements during the last couple of years with each agreement based on young people's interests. Young people have engaged in a range of activities which assist in increasing their confidence, motivation and employability.
The activities available are geared towards supporting a young person to the next stage of their post school destination. There is a focus on developing skills needed to achieve employment or training and are delivered by various partners across the city. Each activity agreement is built around the young person and their needs.
