Modern Apprenticeship - Agriculture

The apprentice will undertake the MA level 2 in Agriculture, combining the SVQ in Agriculture and two industry specific training courses. Ringlink (Scotland) Ltd employs the apprentices and places them with at least two host employers in the sector. This is typically completed within 12 months.

·       £8.62 per hour based on a 40 hour average week equates to £17 979 pa. Rising to £8.79 in January 2019 [£18 333]

·       Additional premiums payable for working on public holidays.

·       Uniform provided

Positive Transitions - 

Positive Transition participants take part in weekly employability sessions where they work on CV writing, interview, presentation and job search skills. Throughout the course issues such as attendance & timekeeping, confidence, communication skills, personal presentation and appropriate language and behaviour are monitored and addressed. The aim is to have young people “job ready” so that they can sustain employment within the labour market following completion of the course.
shmu is an accredited SQA centre and have been delivering the Employability Award since October 2012.
We deliver the award at both SCQF level 3 and 4. Each trainee works at his or her own pace and ability.  Each participant is supported to achieve the highest level of success based on each individual's capacity and talents.
